Host: All right, so we're back here on the podcast, episode 56, with our two resident artists.
Guest 1: Here are two spaces, each place location, under four inches ahead of the grand opening reception, Thursday, February 13th, from 7-9 p.m., which is tomorrow, if you didn’t know.
Host: You designed by 4:00, we started the social movements of a poetry community here in our county, to keep people informed of all the great things that are going on and to make this the perfect place to live. And that's just a basic introduction to the point of the podcast.
Guest 1: Thank you, the Mesa people like them, they’re doing incredible things in the community. But a few incredible things—there’s a 5,000 square foot artificial reef project, creating artists who crafted artificial reefs to provide habitat for fish, full restoration, people tourism, and research. To find out more, call us.
Host: We’ve got 1,000 remaining... well, without much further ado, why don’t you tell us a little bit more?
Guest 2: That is me, as we started the nature scene, the water decisive work.
Guest 1: Lovely.
Host: And how did you guys initially get into it?
Guest 2: A long, long time ago, in my first art experience...
Guest 1: But I remember the first time that...
Host: We're here in both your studios here at each place, around for a little beach, next to Lulu's Beach Shack, where they have a beautiful evening news preference basin they both share. It's quite a brassiere, I'm just basics initiatives activated, making commercial real estate making for water. We see that at two dollars a square foot, with their grand opening reception tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th, from 7-9 p.m. It's free to the public, with live music, accomplished Prosecco DJ, and more.
Guest 2: You can witness it and meet the artists tomorrow in your space, and see their creative work.
Host: So why don’t you tell us a little bit about the work you have here?
Guest 1: A year makes sound like a power box here.
Guest 2: We must be actually...
Host: Okay.
Guest 1: I gave very something that’s what I decided to do...
Guest 2: The basket for tickets or just because I thought...
Host: And you’ll see when you come to their studio here, each place has various works on display: some abstract portraits and fingerprints, abstract expressions, and more. Some have sparkles in them as well. The pieces were created in Yolo and are all available for sale.
Guest 1: We encourage you to attend the opening. It’s a really good time to meet the artists in their space, interact with them, and find out more about their work, their background, and what drives their creative process.
Host: A little bit about myself and my partner Mark... we’re helping to activate spaces throughout South Florida. The job is an immersive area. Each place, unfortunately, has struggled for a few years, with many agencies here, but you’d think a place like each place on a Florida beach would be thriving. This was a place that, when I was growing up, all the tourists would go to. By having an art activation here, we’re providing people with things to do after they eat or drink.
Guest 2: My house...
Host: We want to tell you about zero species that we’ve mentored and created.
Guest 1: Just kind of...
Host: Once again, to local artists and creatives looking to expand their practice, looking for a place to create, these are studio spaces. While it might look like a gallery, this is where the artists create. The studios have their own walls. It’s like an artistic village. You can witness the creative process, which is such a unique opportunity.
Guest 2: You’re able to do that every single day. All of our studios are open at least between the hours of 12 and 5, with other times available by appointment.
Host: Follow social media for updates. We have met before. I’m having the snow and ice dome event on the 13th. Please reach out with any questions. We’d love to see you here before the grand opening this Thursday, from 7 tonight. It’s a free event.
Guest 1: We’ll see that!
